Bill Maher blasts story of Noah, calls God “psychotic mass murderer”

Bill Maher is not the first to blaspheme God, nor is he the only one today to do so. Two more examples are Lady Gaga’s song, “JUDAS” and Robert G Ingersol, who blasphemed God back in the late 1800s and I think that today there are more then ever. Kathy Griffin is another example. And it is difficult to find a book of fiction that doesn’t break the 3rd commandment [Deuteronomy 5:11]. Every true Christian could add their own list of blasphemers, because blasphemy is like chalk squeaking on a blackboard to them.
Mr. Ingersol died, 21 July 1899, if he died lost then he has been in Hell waiting for the Great White Throne judgment (Revelation 20:11-15) Not for blasphemy but for rejecting Christ Jesus as his saviour. That is the real reason for his antichrist behavior.
I, of course, reject Maher’s premise. God proved His love for every person who has ever been born, including Bill Maher when He sent His Son, Christ Jesus, to become sin for us so we could be in heaven.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Here is another great Bible verse,
it is found in 2nd Corinthians 5:21,
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Now for all of you who think that Maher may have a point, because God did send a flood that did kill perhaps over a billion people. Actually, the Henry Morris study Bible in the footnote to Genesis six verse one says, “A total 1,656 years from Adam to the flood at the rate of 2% annually (estimated to be the annual growth rate today) would generate a population of well over 10 TRILLION people in 1,656 years”.
Jesus warned us – you and me – in Luke chapter seventeen that God will yet again send a world wide judgment. It will not be a flood because God said He would never do that again and God never lies. God is never wrong. And God is love.
Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
Luk 17:27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Luk 17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
Luk 17:29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
Before the flood God sent Noah to preach repentance. No one cared. So God now uses the flood of Geneses chapter six as a warning to future generations.
Peter puts it like this
1Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
1Pe 3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
1Pe 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
2Peter 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
2Pe 2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
2Pe 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
2Pe 2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
2Pe 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
2Pe 2:7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
2Pe 2:8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
God is warning us because He loves us. He is giving you a chance to repent. I have already repented and called upon the name of the LORD for salvation (Romans 10:8-12), and you only need to do that once.
2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
The promise in 2nd Peter 3:9 is the rapture (1st Thessalonians 4:13-18) and His coming again (Acts 1:11), which is called the Second Advent. After the Rapture of the Church the prophecies in the book of Revelation will begin.
2nd Peter 3:9 says that God is longsuffering with Mayher’s blasphemy because He wants him to repent. However there is one thing God doesn’t do and that is force anyone to repent and receive His Son Christ Jesus as saviour.
Sadly, Romans chapter one tells us that many individuals will cross a line and become reprobate. When that happens that person, like those who died in the flood, are forever lost.
Is that true for Bill Mayher? Is Mr. Mayher forever lost? I sincerely hope not. We should NEVER think that of anyone. That is God’s business. But be warned when God convicts your heart of sin, righteousness and judgment to come, there is no guarantee He will ever do so again. So if you ignore His calling you to salvation in His precious Son then, it will be to your own peril
Romans 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
Rom 5:7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Rom 5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
So go ahead and mock God’s love but you wont like what happens – remember the Genesis world wide flood and that there is coming another world wide judgment . Noah’s ark is in the headlines today for a reason. It is to remind us that if you are not in Christ Jesus Lord the saviour then you are under God’s wrath. God loves His son so if you are in Him then God loves you.
Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Heb 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
