GOD THE FATHER CALLED JESUS GOD
Heb 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
Heb 1:9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
The above is a quote from Psalms 45. It is obvious that God the Father calls the Son, “God” and the Son calls the Father “God”. This is the mystery of the Trinity. Though we do not fully understand it we still believe it because it is the teaching of the Scriptures
Psa 45:6 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.
Psa 45:7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
